Abhivyakti
The Institute had its Annual Social function “Abhivyakti” from the 5th to 9th January 2009. During these days various sports & games such as Cricket, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carom were played. Cultural events such as dancing, singing, presentation etc. were also held.
Our Publications
The Institute brings out three publications; “Footprints” an annual publication of the institute, serves as a blueprint of the what we have achieved, highlighting the constant innovation which we have implemented during the year. The “Pioneer” is bi-monthly publication which deals with current and relevant issues. These publication acts as window for the students and the working professionals into the world of management with the latest trends and practices, which enable them to channelise their ideas on different aspect of management. The “Investors Diary” is another annual publication targeted at the small investors, which is released during the “Investage” programme.
Investage

The Institute has a long-standing relationship with the Bombay Stock Exchange, Mumbai, and thereby the only institute in Pune University offering a unique programmes Diploma in Capital Market Management in collaboration with BSE. Finance Fair cum Symposium, the ‘Investage’ was organized in collaboration with BSE, Mumbai on 7th March 2009 at Parshuram Saykhedkar Natyagruha, Nashik.
The Chief guest for this function was, Hon. Mr. Chandrashekher Tilak, VP, NSDL. The guest of honour for the function was Dr. M.S. Gosavi ( Founder Director, JDC Bytco IMSR).

Pandya, (AGM, Investors services, BSE, Mumbai.), Mr. Dhoot (C.A.), Mr. Ravinder Singh (Branch Head, Reliance capital, Pune), Mr. Buwa (Area Manager, LIC Mutual fund Nasik), Dr. Rajesh Dubey (Associate Partner, Max New York Life, Nasik), Mr. M. P. Jain ( Divisional Manager, LIC, Nasik) were the speakers for the day.
Annual Seminar

Seminars are an indispensable part of management education. Seminars are conducted on a regular basis on various topics. Apart from this our institute organizes annual seminar every year. Annual seminar was organized on 7th & 8th Nov, 2008. The theme of seminar was ‘BUILDING BUSINESS COMPETENCIES WITH INNOVATION & STARTEGY’ Dr .M .S Gosavi, secretary, G.E society, was the chairman of the inaugural function. National Seminar

A Three days National Seminar was organized under QIP of University of Pune was held from 13th to 15th Dec,2008 at Quality Inn Regency on “Management Challenges for Businesses in the Changing Environment”. 61 delegates from Maharashtra & out of Maharashtra attended the seminar.
Some of the eminent speakers were Mr.Sunil Chaudhary (CEO, Zylog-India-Chief guest inaugural session), Mr. Ram Bhogle (M. D. Nirlep Duraware), Mr. Sudhir Patil (Director, Kesri Tours), Mr. Jayant Kumar Kulkarni (VP, CG Power (Asia), Mr. Jagdish Raje M. D. Frischmann Prabhu), Mr. Pradip Pendse (Dean Welingkar Institute), Mr. Hemant Rathi (Chairman, Empire Spices and Foods Ltd), Mr. H. S. Banerjee (M.D.,EPCOS). Dr. C. M. Chitale (Dean, Faculty of Mgmt. Sci. University of Pune),
Dr. Mrs. A.A. Verulkar: Principal J.D.C. Bytco IMSR and Dr.S.B. Kolte:Director General,
IMSCDR were the chairpersons for the two paper presentation sessions respectively.
Projects Undertaken
Towards our commitment to develop managers with social dimensions our students had undertaken social projects on various topics such as Schools for Disabled Students, Social Responsibility of Temple Management Trusts, Social Awareness about Saving Water and use of Solar Energy, Social Work by Blood Banks, etc. A variety of Entrepreneurial projects also in the due course of fi rst year have been completed by this present MBA-II batch.
